Louisiana is also known for great football.

Concentrate on that, instead of what you can stuff your face full of for 3 hours while sitting in PIMger Stadium.

If you don't like the concession food, bring some peanuts, stay in your seat, watch the game and it'll all be over before you know it.

BK and the Tigers will appreciate your full attention while the game is being played. (Instead of face stuffing)

Aren't the contracts historically handed out through a corporate good ole boys network?

Same people contracted to do EBR school maintenance?

If everyone stops eating their crappy food and buying their watered-down beer, it will change. Just a hint.

They're watering down the beer in the aluminum bottles? How are they pulling that off?

Aramark runs NRG as well as several other venues that are home to pro sports teams. Those venues have facilities that put Tiger Stadium to shame. It also doesn't help that the labor pool in BR is terrible. It won't matter who runs concessions, they will always suck due to horrible facilities and shite labor.

Hell Delaware North has MSY and the food is terrible. Delaware North also has MetLife Stadium and the food is awesome for stadium fare. Facilities and labor matter a lot more than the actual operating company

Wait. Just Stop. You have all day before the game to fill your pie hole with whatever you want. BUT you think you should get some kinda gourmet shite in TS? Next thing you'll want is some depends in the restrooms.

Yeah because during a 3 hour game there is ZERO opportunities to stuff your face. Oh wait there’s a million TV time outs, so why don’t you STFU and let me stuff my face with good food

The OP deserves an A+ for this thread. I swear the food at the games is just trash. There is no reason for it to be so bad.

Options like, say, Chick-Fil-A. Or better still, a Raising Cane's concession in each end of the stadium.
(The new Atlanta stadium has an amazing Chick-Fil-A setup, where your order is ready almost instantly, plus they have dozens of Coca-Cola refill stations all over the stadium. You buy your original cup and just use the cup to refill (for free) anytime you want.) Of course, this was pre-Covid...but it's Georgia, so what do they care?

That would be great - but there is a big difference. That stadium will be used 150 other times a year to make for the concession set up. Tiger stadium has 8 uses a year or 7 if we have a big neutral stadium game (or 11 if superfest comes back).

Investment requires returns and not just 8 days a year.

I think an improvement would make more money for everyone. I wonder if Aramark could subcontract…

100%

All I could want at a football ballgame is a hotdog, nachos, hot peanuts, and hot boiled peanuts with a coke.

I can't really think of anything else.

Popcorn and or nachos and a coke at a basketball game.

If they can't do that then we need to go back to the old ways of volunteers doing it
