If the Rams win tonight, the Titans will be 4-0 against half of the teams in the Divisional Round of the Playoffs

Not only that, there’s also this statistic that no one in the media seems eager to highlight:

Mike Herndon @MikeMiracles

The 2021 #Titans became the first team in NFL history to record at least 8 wins against teams that finished the season with a winning record.

It’s also been funny watching the analysts and talking heads backtrack off of their dickriding the Colts, who 3 weeks ago were the darlings of the NFL, the only team capable of possibly knocking off the peerless Bills and Chiefs in the playoffs. Nevermind that the Titans happened to beat all 3 of those teams… but sure, wOrSt 1 sEeD oF aLL TiMe!

Titans lost to:
The jets
The Texans
The Steelers
The cards by 25
The pats by 23

That 5 horrific losses. They are the worst 1 seed of all time. Now that doesn’t mean they can’t beat the Bengals or anyone else though

First game of the season

Same people that bring up these losses casually forget how the Bills couldn’t score a TD against the Jags while completely healthy, or how they lost to the Steelers, or got blown out by the Colts too.. Or how the healthy Bengals also shite the bed against the Jets.

I get it… keep the focus on how the injured Titans lost to bad teams and then you don’t have to credit the injured Titans for beating good teams. It’s been the media’s approach all season.

We know. Because they’ve already beaten everyone left in the AFC that isn’t the Bengals.

Now do what players those teams with winning records were missing when the Titans went 8-0 against them.

Agreed, the hamstring injury that has kept him off the field more often than not, keeping him and Tannehill from developing a rhythm.

But despite his lack of production, he's still Julio Jones, a weapon that defenses have to account for when he's playing. His presence helps open it up for other Titans offensive aspects.

The Titans went large stretches of this season virtually held together by a scotch tape crew of practice squad players. It's overlooked how injured they've been for most of the season, and I think it's important context when discussing their validity as a #1 seed (especially when considering that they should be almost fully healthy this weekend.)

Have you gone through and done this for all their opponents? For one, their Saints win when the Saints had to play their 3rd string QB?
