Slick Willie was president when I enlisted and the Magnificent Orange Man was president when I retired. The Navy was starting to go full-bore woke a few years before I left the service.

Bill Clinton was the President when I joined at 17. There’s no telling who will be in office when I get out.

Bush
Biden

When you retire they give you a certificate signed by the President, or at least stamped with his signature. I was mildly interested in throwing it in my “career binder” for a POTUS I respect. Instead it went straight into the trash.

The military when I was in was so much different. If it impacted unit cohesion or was detrimental to unit efficiency our leadership wouldn’t touch it. Our job was to build the most effective fighting force in the world. Now the leadership are politicians…..and have turned the military into a social experiment. The whistle blowers letter about the female officer trying to get into the PJs is a perfect example. Absolute horseshite and I would never recommend anyone sign up under these worthless leaders.

And if Afghanistan happened, which it wouldn’t have, in my time there would been mass resignations or firings of the responsible leaders.

Wow. Didn't realize there were that many veterinarians on the board.

Good to know.
