I'm confused on why everyone has such an issue with the comparison to high school. Granted, I didn't know anyone doing heroin or fentanyl in high school.. there were tons of parties, coke, alcohol, weed, sex.
I knew drug dealers - not on Fezco's level. There are a ton of sensationalized things in the show to add to the drama, but it's not THAT far off. I graduated in 2007 and my high school had plenty of this stuff - just without the added technology aspect. And we didn't have any trannies.

We should probably start a new thread to discuss the actual show so it's not half the people debating whether or not it's really like high school
We can all agree to disagree on whether or not it's a true representation of high school. And we can all agree that the storylines and characters are fricked up.. but it's entertaining.

Man they have a open range that they can take that storyline.. I read one theory is that the lil brother is Ashtray but that wouldn't make much sense to me.

. Nate has a "frickup brother" we see in Season 1 and Rue explains it. I didn't catch there being another younger brother. Was this in S1 or S2? I haven't watched S1 in a while. The thing about Nate's dad thinking he deserved it sort of makes sense, as in S1 when he tells Nate that he didn't know how he fixed the abuse allegations but didn't seem proud of it. The dad is a creep and seems to be jealous/ashamed/ or just doesn't particularly like Nate in some aspects.

So if this is true then the Ash-Tray theory can't be right. That would be extremely far-fetched anyway
