It is unclear if she is talking about all deaths since the start of all this or just since November (since Omnicron).

She does not say that it is not because of Covid.

She says Covid kills if you have other bad stuff inside your body like too much fat.

That's not what I heard. I heard 75% of deaths had 4 or more comorbidities. Is the link wrong?

What exactly do you think caused 400,000 people to die of pneumonia and 400k+ to die of respiratory distress/failure/arrest? Absolutely ignorant take. And you guys act like it’s the Covidians that just accept what they are being told without thinking critically.

In the United States, 1.5 million people were diagnosed with pneumonia in an emergency department during 2018.

So we just going with pneumonia and flu disappeared from earth after 2018?

For decades, pneumonia has remained the leading cause of death due to infectious disease around the world.

And guess what? We have vaccines for pneumonia, do you have your PCV? I didnt think so.

Please, oh brilliant one, refute the CDC table in the post that says only 5% of those with covid being the only cause of death on their death certificate vs the 95% shown in the table as having on average 4 comorbidities.

Yes, it’s wrong. And it’s not 75% of all COVID deaths had 4 or more comorbidities. It’s 75% of COVID deaths amongst vaccinated people have 4 or more.

Are you really going to insist on that ignorant position? Is your position that someone who got pneumonia or went into respiratory failure/distress/arrest because of the virus didn’t really die because of the virus? Because that’s what you’re saying.

This.

quote:

“Good Morning America” host: “I want to ask you about the encouraging headlines that we’re talking about this morning, a new studying talking about just how well vaccines are working to prevent severe illness. Given that, is it time for us to start rethinking how we’re living with this virus if it is potentially here to stay?”

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky: A really important study if I may summarize it. A study of 1.2 million people who are vaccinated between December and October and demonstrated that severe disease occurred in about 0.015% of the people who receive their primary series. And death in 0.003% of those people.

The overwhelming number of deaths, over 75%, occurred in people who had at least four comorbidities. So really these are people who were unwell to begin with.

The memes and tweets you are seeing from people like Clay Travis and Don Jr. are false.

Carry on.

Pneumonia was killing millions of people worldwide pre 2020. And again, we have a vaccine.

Actually, mr arrogance dripping from your keyboard, I asked you to refute the original post with a chart from the CDC itself.

So you’re saying that deaths from pneumonia and respiratory failure/distress/arrest just magically shot up by 400k+ in 2020?

I’m not refuting it. COVID caused those things.

Because us today released an edited interview and didnt release the full one until after this.

So again, the msm lying. Or at least lying through omission.

But, she was talking about a study.

But, weve been making policy over a study.

So extrapolate her study to the population just like weve done everything else.

No, im saying covid didnt kill all of those people.

1.5 million people had pnuemonia in the us before covid hit.

1.5 million

1.5 million

Plus if you read the fine print, CDC says covid deaths with confirmed or presumed. meaning, they arent all confirmed to have had covid. but we will shove the big scary number in your face anyway because you wont read the fine print.

500k+ more people died in 2020 than in 2019. The vast majority of those additional deaths correspond with the increase in the number of people dying from pneumonia and respiratory distress/failure/arrest. I’m not saying no one died from pneumonia and respiratory problems pre-COVID. I’m saying that the number of people dying from those causes shot up materially at the same time as COVID arrived. Either some other unknown cause led to more deaths from pneumonia and respiratory issues or the virus that is known to cause pneumonia and respiratory issues is the cause. It’s really not rocket science.

US Today released the edited video or did Barrington Martin II release an edited video that Don Jr/Clay Travis/etc. all ran with?

Actually, the number of deaths attributed to respiratory illnesses (non-Covid) noticeably fell.

Respiratory illness, yes. That’s a chronic condition. I agree there was some slight reduction in deaths attributed to chronic respiratory illness in 2020. Some of that is undoubtedly cannibalization into the COVID stats. Some is a real reduction in other respiratory viruses due to the measures we took to combat COVID. That change though isn’t anywhere near the magnitude of the changes in total deaths or the increases in pneumonia related and acute respiratory distress/failure/arrest amongst people who didn’t have chronic respiratory illness.
