Billingsly is an off the field problem.

Brown couldn't get playing time on a very average Bama line.

No thanks.

Wow, pretty bold statement there, Cotton.

No thanks on Billingsley - they do it is a head case that Sabin couldn’t even get through two.

Don’t know much about the other guys, but I’m gonna rely on BK’s judgment over yours.

Would you rather have a bama backup or a fcs player.

I think we see what happens when lower tier OL players come in with our Center from Harvard.

We are running out of options at this point. I will take what we can get!

Anything to get even close to a full roster. If only for depth we should still go after what we can.

Well what good did the Bama transfers do while they were there for u to say that? What are their stats and how many starts did each one have at their positions?

I'd rather not have a blanket approach. Everything is situational.

We didn't get a center from Harvard. We got a tackle that we put at center. No one involved in that decision is still here, so it's not evidence of anything at this point.

How do you even know that these guys are even interested in LSU 90% of these guys probably go closer to home. Kind of like the Arkansas guys from Louisiana

Lol what? New players jump into the portal every day. We have plenty of time to sit back and jump in when we need to

The transfer portal stargazing sidewalk fans are worse than the typical recruiting stargazers

I'll be he's smart enough to use an apostrophe in a title in TD.

You do realize that several of Bamas best players since Saban has been there have come from Juco and similar ranks?

It's pretty bad.

I think people are not taking into account that Kelly has to build both a 2022 team and a program moving forward. The talent to compete is part of the equation, but the character piece when you're trying to reshape the culture of the program is a huge deal.

Additionally, on the side of building for the long term, some guys are going to have more inherent value than others. A guy like Mekhi Wingo is more valuable because he's transferring after his freshman year. He can't transfer aga in. He's likely going to be at his next place for 3 years.

They're probably taking into account what class different guys are in to figure out how quickly they'll be turning over tThe roster. hey need this to be a foundational class.

Limit the high school signees to the best of the remaining, leave 10-12 more from the portal and save several for next season. Selectively use the portal to fill all of the massive holes in the roster.

Kelly spoke of alignment my guess is he isn’t going to just take anybody just because they might check boxes on the athlete scale.I trust him to find the right pieces to build a team with the right attitude.Once you establish the foundation then you can build from there for years moving forward.I doubt he wants to deal with any “Me First” players
