Could Daronte be DB coach if better opportunity doesn't arise?

Brian Kelly is holding onto him for a reason, he was interviewed for the DB position a few years ago at Notre Dame.

Seeing as we already have 2 DB coaches getting paid 500k a year I highly doubt it.

I think we have our db coaches When was daronte hired. Could be as simple as contract date could drop buyout if multi year contract. Or he could be gone already and just hasn’t posted it on social media which is where we normally find out.

If so keep him around in some capacity.

He is still under contract. No announcement has been made because no one else in football has hired him. He is just hanging out collecting a check, not unlike what he did most of his career.

What is this board’s infatuation with Daronte Jones? I need to understand, because I haven’t seen anything except not calling any blitzes until EIGHT games into the fricking year when everything was already lost.

You daronte fans need to understand that he’s not the 2nd coming of Aranda.

He was thrust into a spot that he wasn’t ready for but showed signs of growth. He’ll be fine but we’ve opened a new book. Time to move on. The future is very bright.

Funny how Daronte Jones leaves Vikings and they implode getting coach fired.

Peetz leaves Panthers and their offense implodes and Brady gets fired before season ends, and Rhule hanging on by a thread.

Hmmm...makes you wonder.

Jesus. The dude had LSU’s defense playing well for like four games. This was AFTER an opposing coach told Orgeron that the scheme was too vanilla.

Three of the teams LSU faced were Arkansas, tamu, and ULM.

LSU paid $25 million to shitcan O and his staff, and gave Kelly $100 million to win a title. Why does the fanbase want LSU to settle for mediocre coaches?
