They don’t need them. Nopd knows who they are and has probably arrested them multiple times. The DA’s office keeps sending them back out on the street.

They don’t know or care.

We’re facing a generation that’s raised to believe they’re entitled to whatever they want whenever they want it and they face no consequences for their actions. In fact, if someone stands up to them
That person faces stiffer penalties and media backlash than the criminals themselves.

Then we took that generation and locked them in their homes for a year and canceled school and all public activities forcing them to find their way to spend their time. Which led to increased crime and gang activities.

Their community leaders and government officials repeatedly tell them their own actions aren’t their fault and their DA doesn’t prosecute criminals.

The media and community and mayor can keep pretending these are isolated incidents but they know that’s not true. These aren’t random car jackings. Most of the cars end up in the same area so obviously there is an organization at work behind this. Crack down hard on crime or watch the city completely tear itself apart.

New Orleans is basically irredeemable at this point without serious massive help. And most of the people who once lived their and wanted to help have left the city.

There’s not a single redeeming quality about that shite hole. I can get drunk anywhere.
