I hope they are able to block Kansas State well enough to run the ball effectively. I know it won't be easy. What do you think?

Having a wr at qb won’t help a below average o line. We are going to get a lot of runs of 2-4 yards.

Duel threat QB in high school leading Lutcher to the state title...its not like he's never been under center before...

Looks like we have most of the starting line so I would think about like they played all year.

Our kids will give it their all as long as the game remains close. If we give up some big plays early, KSU will rout us.

My prediction: Kansas State 20 LSU 10

They'll do great! Hat on hat blocking without worrying about RPO downfield penalties and a lead blocker. This group will grind.

And I'll note: 4 seniors and 1 junior... no opt outs.

Who says there's nothing to play for when you have pride.

While they didn’t play good at times. It is the one position that will have its game 1 starters. Wire Ingram shanahan Hines deculus. That is what is listed on depth chart. Let’s see if that lineup happens. Now we have no depth. It is marlon Martinez and marlon Martinez

I’m worried more about the CB/DB play and QB play!

Kardell started the last two game of the season. He has some experience. If no major injuries they should be fine. The OLine is the least substituted unit beside QB every game.

While I appreciate the optimism, we’re rolling out a QB that’s never taken a college snap (nor was even recruited as a QB) behind a marginal line and without our best RB against an opponent that knows we’re going to have to run almost every play. Our defense is a complete patchwork on the back end, so we’re going to have to score some points.

If we can’t completely manhandle them up front on both lines, it’ll be a long game.

Our offensive line will be our best unit on the field. Was this missed in the bowl game notes?

For just the second time this year, LSU will start the
offensive line that was expected to be the starting unit
for 2021. LSU’s offensive line against Kansas State will
feature Cam Wire (LT), Ed Ingram (LG), Liam Shanahan
(C), Chasen Hines (RG), and Austin Deculus (RT). The only
game this group has started together this season is the
near-win at Alabama.

I'm pretty sure they are all gone by this point...

Edit...The guys left are the ones who want to be there.
