Honestly - think this day should not be remembered in any meaningful way

Oh there will be a monument to commemorate the history of the battle of Jan 6. I’m sure there will be documentaries every year until the next big election.

The narrative will not be forgotten.

Wouldn't it be amazing if a few thousand patriots showed up and just sat in lawn chairs outside the capitol chilling while Nancy and the media portrayed them as ultra violent insurrectionists

She was a dumbass that made her way through a broken window after not being able to get through a barricaded door. She did it knowing officers had guns pointed at her.

If several officers are pointing guns at you maybe don’t run at them.

Don’t comply and you might just die. She played a stupid game and paid for it with her life.

One gun. Get your story right before sticking your foot in your mouth.

Does it matter how many guns? Don't advance on an officer when he is pointing a gun at you.

Homeboy lurking from the shadows was in her blindspot to her left and shot her from an adjacent doorway.

This is one of the primary differences between the modern left and the right.

I wish there was a way to do this without dishonest liberals cheating, but were it possible, I'd propose this:

TiketheMiger picks a dozen of his liberal buddies, and one of us (I'll call my own number since it's my hypothetical) picks a dozen of their own folks, and ask them to recreate the 5 minutes leading up to Ashli Babbitt's shooting from memory.

Then you compare those accounts with established video footage. I know my baws have watched it relentlessly. Can the Maddow fanboi brigade say the same?

The disparity between the recounts would be fascinating.

Drinking warm soy milk from a teacup with both hands,as I try to stop myself from shaking. Afterwards, I'll scream at the sky for a couple of hours. I'll wrap it all up by going on Twitter and discussing with other experts, how Jan 6th was worse than 5 holocausts combined.

Xi and the hoe have the day planned out!

President Biden and Vice President Harris will speak on Thursday to mark the anniversary of the insurrection at the Capitol, the White House announced Sunday.

The White House had previously indicated it would mark the anniversary of the Jan. 6 attack at the Capitol but had not provided details. Hundreds of pro-Trump rioters stormed the complex that day, overwhelming law enforcement and seeking to stop the certification of Biden's electoral victory.

The president and vice president will speak in one part of a series of events organized by Democrats to memorialize the day.

The House will not be in session, so many lawmakers may be out of town, but Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announced there would be a moment of silence, time for lawmakers to share their testimonials from a year ago and a prayer vigil.

Historians Jon Meacham and Doris Kearns Goodwin are also slated to participate in one of the events.

Biden's remarks on Thursday will serve as something of a split screen as former President Trump holds what he has billed as a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on the same day. LINK
