How hard do you think his wife secretly prays he goes to jail? You know she has prob taken a beating.
From the article

His wife came out of the store and found him parked some distance way, shaking. She was afraid to make the drive to New Orleans with him, and ultimately his mother drove him to the VA Hospital where he was admitted.

Hey amigo, go peruse the original thread where people posted direct evidence of this dipshite doing dipshite things long before his deployment.
Yep. A number of people that know him posted and they didn't have much good to say about him.
One comment I recall was that the guys in his unit fricking despise him.
And that he bowed up to some non com, while saying rank doesn't matter or whatever, and ran away when said non com took his shirt off.
dude was harassing people he had pulled over, lol
bunch of fricking apologist

Reading comprehension amongst some of you is deplorable.
To ask that people - as a whole - cease the public virtual lynchings of others without verified evidence is not a heavy lift.
This can all be summed up with stop casting stones unless you’re pure as the driven snow. Show some decency and reason.

I’ve definitely gotten that angry working on my lawnmower carburetor.

Did you not see the video of the a-hole man threatening the women, and battering the elderly man? This was caused because the vehicle he was riding in was parked in a fire lane, blocking emergency access, and stopping others from leaving. When asked to correct his illegal parking he lost his mind, and went off on the undeserving, and unsuspecting public.
He cannot be allowed access to public spaces where other people exist. His claimed PTSD does not afford him the right to wild through life, creating victims in his path.

You deflect worse than a leftist.
Reading comprehension? Dude, you're literally making emotional arguments while criticizing them. We're comprehending the perspective you are so desperately trying to put forth and calling you out on your bullshite.
Just like the original video will in court for this jackarse. All of this is just post narrative construction that is thought to be genius by his defense when it's really just making PTSD cases harder for all veterans when a little boy tries to hide behind a real issue because he doesn't want to atone for his actions. That's cowardice of the highest form, and it's going to affect his brothers in arms who are and will have real issues.

Public virtual lynching? Dickie got caught on video acting an arse in public. Like a man, he must answer for his actions. This isn't new.
Who's appealing to emotion with rhetoric here? You don't comprehend the bullshite your mind lets you think is a good idea, or a clever one either.

Your "persuasive writing" is barely at a middle school level. You can't appeal to a higher level of decency when you've done nothing but emotional arguments since your second post. But just like Dickie Suarez, you don't want to seem to face the truth in your bullshite.

Yes, I saw the video and I agree with all you said.
What have I said that invalidates this?
Take all I discussed in context in response to multiple conversations and you’ll see I have consistently said what two things can be true…that Suarez committed an illegal act and PTS from service may be a contributing factor.
They’re not mutually exclusive.

So he had his bags packed headed to a mental hospital and made one last stop where this happened ?
Yeah, this is where I am bothered. If he really was in that bad shape that morning, you go straight to the hospital. Or, you call the police and ask for a 72 hour hold.
You DO NOT make stops along the way.
He may well have PTSD and he may well need help but none of that excuses his behavior on that day.
Having said that this is one of those times where I feel the appropriate penalty isn't jail time but rather ensuring the victim is made whole, and a significant amount of community service hours... perhaps targeted towards veterans with PTSD.

This. If you have deemed yourself to be such a threat to your own self and others around you that you need to check in to a mental facility, anything resulting from stopping in a crowded public place along the way should be on you

Your entire stance on the matter. I see this on here from time to time where an douche takes a perspective like this because it's of the whole notion that you wouldn't want this to happen to you if you were in this situation and some of the specifc circumstances resonate home with you.
Easy fix, don't be a jackarse. If you're trying to provide cover for someone who did some jackarse shite, you might in fact be in the same boat.
Learn by making better decisions if you were in the same situation. Not deflecting obvious things because you see yourself in someone else.

He is just a Dick nothing more nothing less. Thank you for service but that doesn’t give you right going being a Dick. Nah that PTSD is him trying to get out of it

As one of his “brothers in arms”, I have empathy for the issues he may be dealing with. Maybe his claim of PTS are just a wise defense, maybe both. Regardless, he will be held accountable for his actions by the courts and hopefully the fella he hit heals up and Suarez gets some help for the sake of his family.

Do we know if he called the VA to set a PSTD appointment before or after he knocked the shite out of the old dude that was defending the old ladies from being crushed?

You make good points - minus the douche comment.
I led many men in my time who each processed differently the horrors of war, stressors of deployment and all the issues that come from a family moving along back home without you.
I’ll just leave it at humans are complex and so are their issues and noone is irredeemable.
