Ensminger made him a 56% passer lol

Burrow was the Tom Brady of the 2019 team. He was the leader on and off the field.
No Joe Burrow no natty.

I mean he wasn’t great, below average comp% & terrible on 3rd down. They also hired Linehan because they had zero faith in Ensminger

Burrow made Brady look like a world beater. Brady may still have a great career, but he would be an offensive assistant somewhere without Burrow.
Burrow also put a shine to the Orgeron and Ensminger LSU careers. Orgeron then did his best to tarnish that shine over the past two years without Burrow.

Pettigrew? Do you mean Sullivan? Pettigrew had one catch for -1 yards on the year.

Considering one is breaking records and the other is unemployed I think we know the real answer
And without Brady the receivers would've been dropping passes like the year before and Burrow Would've thrown for about 25 touchdowns and would have been a backup QB in the NFL after being drafted in the 5th round. What's your point? LSU needed them both.

2019 doesn't happen without either one, plain and simple. Brady brought concepts, formations, had an organized plan to create cohesion for the offensive unit and to take advantage of mismatches with the weapons they had. Burrow brought a work ethic that he held the team to ( was a great leader ), the players followed and believed in him and he executed the offense beyond anyone's wildest imagination. The best offense I have ever seen since watching college football in the early 80's.

Brady showed LSU how to take advantage of Burrow/WR talents. Without Brady 2019 don't happen even if it was lightning in a bottle....Also we had all the same players the year before and we didn't go nuts like we did in 2019. Bottom line is without Brady BDjoe don't get to showcase his talents, we would have run the same shite as we did in 2018 and anyone who disagrees is full of shite and trying to discredit Brady now because he left and don't want to return.
While this is the gospel truth, most on here would rather sip Woody Koolaid!

Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, Marshall, and Clyde all peaking at the same time was more important than Brady, although his plan was fantastic.

Easily Burrow. Brady gets way more credit than he deserves. Anyone around the program can tell you that Brady called about 5-10 plays a game. Y’all saw Brady’s offense ran this year at LSU. Ensminger was a bigger impact than Brady yet people refuse to give the man credit

This is a stupid conclusion.

The whole was greater than the sum of its parts. Brady was key to helping the passing game evolve, but Ensminger's role seems to be discounted even though I believe he was the stabilizing part of that duo. Burrow's part in this was key, he is an exceptional QB and leader and his decision making ability on the field made things happen even when a play would break down. And having record-setting, pro bowl receivers and an NFL caliber RB didn't exactly hurt. The defense was good enough early and came together later in the season to become great, so add to the mix having a DC who is now a successful P5 HC.

No we didn't.
CEH, Terrace Marshall and Chase hardly played the year before because they weren't the players in 2018 that they became in 2019.
Burrow became better and better as 2018 wore on. In 2019 he was not the player that started 2018.
Damien Lewis, Deculus, Charles were all much improved players.
Moss wasn't available in 2018. The only skill player that Burrow had in 2018, that started on the 2019 team, was Jefferson.
We did NOT have the same players.

Ed Orgeron put it all together. We owe him forever

Burrow is the GOAT but Brady's innovative passing allowed us to become the greatest single season of all time IMO.
