The inevitable vaccine argument with in-laws. "Why won't you just get the jab?"

I tried to avoid it all day. I don't understand this mindset of just doing what the government tells you.
Anyone else have this conversation?
Apparently if you don't trust the health officials, you are an uneducated heathen. These fricking idiots really think they are smarter than everyone else.

Let’s say you wanted to get the vax
Would you just go on and get the booster ?
Seems pointless to get shots 1 and 2 for a strain that is irrelevant .

I couldn't win. They are so scared and brainwashed that this is saving everyone. They have a large circle of friends in NOLA that ALL believe this shite. Well to do people that are well educated. They spout off talking points like it's rehearsed.

There is no point trying to talk the truth. This is all about the covidians and their new religion. The vaccine is basically their baptism into the faith.

Boosters don’t work for new, so why get any?
At this point, I don’t understand what would make someone go get it and they haven’t before?
Of course things change every 30,60,&90 days, as well as daily, but it’s been like two years.

Then I’d hit them with.
So Biden wants to increase boosters and vaccinations
Yet the shot doesn’t stop you from getting nor transmitting Covid
If you say the vaccines will stop Covid, yet they don’t stop the spread , then how does the vaccine end Covid?

Tell them that you prefer natural immunity and that no one has concrete evidence that my immune system is incapable of fighting off the virus

It’s pointless. It’s not about health, or safety. They won’t listen or even hear you. It really is harder to convince someone they’ve been conned than it is to con them.

Tell them you won’t taunt them when they start dying from the clot shot.

Ask them about Kamala’s stance and show this video.
She must be very conflicted since both Trump and health officials advocated for the vaccine.

Just say "I got it" then the conversation is over.
Who gives a shite
Who gives a shite

Every bit of this! That’s why I tried to avoid the conversation altogether.

They think kids should be vaccinated.

It's a cult. Wife and I were banded from the family Christmas festivities due to some hurt feelings over the illogical thinking that being vaccinated will help keep others from getting it. These people will have to learn the truth on their own. Imagine living in fear of covid and watching the news daily. Propaganda over truth..It's the matrix clown world and they have all been blue pilled. On a lighter note, greatest Christmas ever! I'm very thankful and grateful for my loving wife and all of our unreasonable family members.

FIL was spouting this mentality forever.
“Just get the jab, it’s simple.”
Why can’t they see past that? It’s not about just a vaccine.

You think you're going to change their minds?
Why do y'all overcomplicate this shite?

Say my doctor said it's no big deal and he said it's up to me and he knows a whole lot more about it than y'all.

My MD actually agrees with me. I’ve had it twice, it was a mild case each time, so why worry about the vaccine.
Also, one of the top oncologists in Georgia told my pa-in-law last week there was no way in Hell he was taking it.
