All the fatties and Karens in here asking why XYZ chain restaurant can’t go next door to the grocery store don’t realize how much shite comes pre-packaged and premade. The workers literally nuke most of what you’d eat at a Chili’s or Wendy’s or whatever.

Even if the workers did know how to make the food from scratch, i guarantee the head office’s legal and HR department would flip out if one of their employees went rogue and started cooking whatever. “Who cares if the customers were happy? We have policies and mandates and rules and procedures!”

Earlier this year in Destin I went to an "Oyster House" that was out of oysters.

'Oh, everybody's out, there's no oysters in Destin, supply issue blah blah"

Next night at another restaurant, they had oysters.

Cowboy Chicken was out of chicken...during lunch time.

The manager was all out of fricks to give. And certainly not a chicken frick.

Never had the Milky Way pie at Sammy’s in BR bc the several times I went, they were out

Also, one time I went to the Serrano’s by lsu (when it was there) and they were out of the cilantro rice, grilled chicken, and the brownie I had wanted for dessert

KFC - Fern Creek, Bardstown Road in Louisville.

“Out of chicken”

I said, “ you do one thing”

They said, “ I know, sorry”

Back in the mid-90s, Montgomery had a restaurant that claimed to be Cajun.

They ran out of rice.

Place is now a bare slab.

I stopped at sonic one time for ice cream and they were out of plastic spoons. It was directly in front of a Walmart which I can almost promise was stocked with plastic spoons.

Pizza place down the street was out of mushrooms last week. I didn't say anything but was thinking why not just go to the fricking store and get some mushrooms instead of telling customers you're out of mushrooms.

Was at the Waffle House in New Iberia and lost it when they told me they couldn’t get Tabasco.

Golf course once told me it was going to be 9 days before being able to restock and get beer. Was so passed off that within an hour I had 3/4 of the members call the club wanting to cancel membership.

The golf club got corrected. The Waffle House incident has a picture of me on the wall there with a circle around it with a line through it.
