I’d prefer not to chew on trachea. I’ll pass on that and the pig lips and ruffles.

I’d be pumped. Turkey necks and turkey wings are damn good in a gravy. Smoked turkey necks are awesome in Gumbo.

So, if they don’t cook, how do y’all eat?

I mean I cook but what good is a woman who can’t?

I would assume that she's been getting some BBC, and that's how she learned how to cook them.

No piece of meat makes a better gravy than turkey necks.

Never eaten a turkey neck. Not sure I've ever seen one off of the turkey and not in a grocery store.

You realize that smothered Turkey necks and gravy were poor white food before they were “soul food” (a term that came around after the great migration where blacks took southern cuisine up north with them), Right?

We use Turkey necks when we go crabbing and we leave them out to get some smell to them first. It's hard to eat them because I associate them with that rancid smell.

I’d be worried if she got some BBC that lead her to cook that

My wife puts smoked necks in her red beans. I love them. You just have to be careful with big mouth fulls that you think are only beans and rice. You can end up with a bone through the roof of your mouth! lol

Technically yes but quality and frequency are factors to consider.
