Spin-off: NES games you never beat

Which NES games did you try your hardest but could never over come.
The one I had as a kid that frustrated me was Image Flight. I played that game for hours and couldn't make it past the fourth level maybe. I also could never make it past Dagaboh on Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back.
A lot of people talk about Lion King and Aladdin but I don't remember if those were NES or Super NES. So what are your games you couldn't beat?

I didn't discover Zelda series until later in life (when BOTW was released) but when playing the originals on the NES online service on the switch, I was unable to beat the first Zelda. I got fed up with dying in the final dungeon and having to go back out to load up again.
Zelda II was just a shite show and I probably didn't make it past the 2nd or 3rd dungeon/palace/castle/whatever they are referred to. Easily my least favorite of the games I've played in the series.
Also, I don't think I ever beat TMNT without the aid of game genie lol. It took me forever to figure out how to find the exit in the airport level, but when I finally did I would get destroyed in the Technodrome final level.

Finally beat Mega man 2 with my kids earlier this year. They were all on the edge of their seats. Old games so much harder and more rewarding to me without all the checkpoints and saves.
I remember the absolute elation I felt when I finally made it through the caves and got the hammer in Zelda 2.
