Train station scene in the Untouchables- the music and slow motion really adds to the tension.

That is extremely hard to watch. The scene at the end between Jake Gyllenhaal and Aaron Taylor-Johnson's character was tense as hell too

The re-entry scene in Apollo 13 has me on the edge of my seat even now after watching it about 50 times.

It had me on the edge of my seat in the theater when I first saw it…even though I knew how it turned out.

Even though we all knew what was going to happen, the Perfect Storm had me on edge during the last 10 minutes.

Cast Away plane crash, as mentioned.

Also, I thought I was the only person who had seen Nocturnal Animals.

Alot of scenes have been thrown out there, but there is really only one correct answer for this category….

It is the boat dinner scene in Jaws where Quint describes surviving the sinking of the USS Indianapolis. It is one of the finest pieces of dialogue delivery ever captured on film. Anyone that proposes something in lieu of thus, I’m sorry, but you’re just wrong.

The scene in Nightcrawler where Lou bargains with the news station director at the Mexican restaurant where he threatened to take his footage to other stations if she didn’t sleep with him and the scene where he makes a bunch more demands for the on scene murder footage. That movie was full of amazingly tense scenes.

The motel shoot out at the end of L.A. Confidential.

The opening tracking shot in Touch of Evil.

The fight scene out of the back of the cargo plane in The Living Daylights.

The blood test scene in The Thing.

The kitchen scene in Jurassic Park.

Pretty much any scene in The Shining or Apocalypse Now.
