How can Oklahoma still salvage a new class and other schools as well;

But we can't?

I have a hard time understanding how we can get the top qb and a 5 star tackle and people say we don’t have a class

Anytime a thread is titled “legit question” it’s always far from a legit question.

It’s usually as is the case here, a subjective uninformed opinion based observation.

Maybe you missed the part where Oklahoma had 5 of their top recruits decommit when Lincoln Riley left, along with losing their backup QB, 2 of their starting WR’s, and their starting TE to the transfer portal. They didn’t salvage shite.

You’ve got your starting QB and future LT on board as the main pieces of the class. We have not hired a OC & DC yet. LSU isn’t throwing and doesn’t have the money that Texas and A&M have for the NIL “deals”.

Because LSU has been s complete toxic dumpster fire for over a year…

And our new coach and Frank Wilson have been busting there asses for 2 weeks.

These kids have been recruited for 2 years in some cases.

Coach O wasn’t up there lighting their program on fire the last 2 years. Notre Dame and Oklahoma were both left in good positions.

They only had 2 or 3 commits when LR got the job.

OU has basically the same average rating per player. They just had a lot more commitments on board than LSU did at the time of the transition. Florida is #79 and USC #101.

There’s a difference between the transition from a fired coach and a coach who voluntarily left.

Oklahoma, Oregon and Notre Dame SHOULD have an easier transition than LSU, considering they just completed very good seasons
