I mean… he was objectively not very good. Stats were okay but failed the eyeball test miserably

I think we saw plenty enough of Max to make the statement he wasn’t a great QB.
Unfortunately he was in a pretty bad system, with a terrible Oline, but he had many issues himself.
Hopefully he makes it somewhere else, but I’m actually happy to move on.

I’m going to trust Brain Kelly here and expect something better moving forward.

Jake is going to be a tough loss, but we’ll be fine.

Hate to lose Deion. I think when healthy, he may be the best of those freshmen receivers.

I'd go get Noah Gindorff from North Dakota State. He isn't in the portal yet, but he was supposed to enter the draft this year and all he got was 18 catches in that offense.

He's 6-6 and 265 and runs a 4.7. Go recruit him off NDSU's roster. It worked for Cox, it'll work for this guy. And he'll solidify the position for a year and give Kelly a chance to recruit and develop his guys.
