I think it’s timing. LSU fans don’t care for JJ, and we love FW. When they both get announced on the same day, people can’t resist comparing. I honestly couldn’t give less of a shite about what UF is doing. No offense, of course.

Because he coached an hour away, publicly lobbied for the LSU job, and is hiring coaches who used to be on LSU's staff? No clue why we've taken an interest..

Look up old TD threads on Juluke. They fricking loved him. One of them even said something along the lines of "the only coach can that match what Wilson can do" and things like that.
I know all schools get instant rose colored glasses over their new coaches and such. But damn seems like LSU does it harder than anyone.

I see USL and Florida fans here on an LSU board all day long beating their chests about how he's better than the guy who won more games at Notre Dame than Knute Rockne.
I don't think it's "obsession" to point out an obvious difference between the two which is clearly in our guy's favor.
Your AD made a lazy hire, and it's starting to show. He might do well, but there is no way I'd trade with you.
