There were a bunch of workers at a chicken plant that walked off the job the other day... I am sure that helped...

Bottom line is, if we do not quit supporting people that do not and will not work, then the population is never going to get back to work... Hunger is a helluva motivator and it is time some of these folks experience it...

I have 10 chicken plants within 100 miles of me. I think I will be ok. Otherwise, I'll just eat deer meat. Took 4 to the processor yesterday.

I've been seeing Buffalo Wild Wings and Wing Stop advertising thighs now instead of wings because of the wing shortage.

About the only way they can make those meatless meats affordable but they will still taste like shite...

The part of the chicken that is left after cutting for breast meat? If breast meat isn't impacted, then this is simply away to boost the price of what was at one point essentially a biproduct that a market was created for.

See also flank steak for another example.

They are.
Throw some blue cheese crumbles on top and down some Whistle Pig bourbon...game day styling!

Shouldn’t thighs and wings always be a 1:1 ratio?

Did they breed chickens that don't have wings anymore or what? No wings in the butchers meat counters anymore.

You have to buy Tyson frozen ones if you want wings.

I refuse to believe chickens from Mississippi and Arkansas are stuck in containers off the west coast.

I heard about an interesting problem with supply chain.
Let's say a new mom wants to order an outfit for her 1 year old child for Christmas.
The delivery is 6 months late. The outfit doesn't fit anymore. The mom sends it back.
No gift, no sale. Just a waste the company will have to swallow.

Buffalo Wild Wings

The lone BW3 in this town has not served chicken in 2 months.

People still go there. BW3 not getting in any hurry to find chicken now.
