It's kind of humorous that the first propaganda you depict features the two entitlement programs that are insolvent and that have driven the national debt out of reach.
Yeah, it hasn't collapsed yet, but it will.
That propaganda is like a guy who thinks he can fly who jumps off a 50 story building and starts bragging at around the 15th floor.

That last one is hilarious since the American people did not start SS but the government did, and then the same government opened that fund up for raiding it.
Feel free to give back all the money they have taken for SS and I will Build Back Better for my retirement.

My favorite study was on the math of Soc Sec. If you worked from age 22-65 at median income and instead of being forced to pay into Soc Sec withholding you took those dollars and bought the safest blue chip stocks. And your earning years included a recurrence of the Great Depression, you would still retire with an annual income of 5 times that of your Soc Sec checks.

The only reason I participate in any form of "socialism" is because I am forced to as a law abiding, working, tax paying citizen. But things I receive from the government that I paid into with my hard work and money taken from my paycheck is not me actively being a socialist. Sorry. What I pay in taxes and what I actually receive for paying them is not at all proportionate to what I contribute either.

The same people who say others don't know what socialism is, don't know what socialism is. These European countries they often cite aren't socialist, and their leaders have said that more than once.
In short, nanny state =/= socialism.

The Great Society has not eliminated poverty but has increased numbers of illegitimate children. Congratulations

Really good line there.

A government run by socialist is totally different than a taxpayer funded government with programs that enhances society. While people may say or think they are the same they completely opposite

Churchill was by far greater than the Socialist and the Socialist at heart Roosevelt.

Because government can/does does not mean it should/must. You give me a way to opt out of participation in the most inefficient methods for delivering these goods and services and I'll gladly take it.

I am not knighting for Medicare or SS but neither of those programs have driven the Nation's debt out of reach.

Conservatives need to come off this "give the money back first" SS reform dealbreaker. That will never happen, and the whole country will be better off the sooner we start the ending of the program.

There's two ways you could mean that. Either way, you're wrong.
1. It's not out of reach. Yeah? When was the last time it went any direction other than up?
2. SS and Medicare didn't put it there. Just those two are what, almost 2/3rds of the entire federal budget? Something like that.
Of course they did.

You forget that we the people pay in to SS and Medicare. We may not like it but the differnence that Congress has to make up is not what makes the Nation's debt out of reach.
