Less or more prone to do business that advertises its gender or race ownership?

This satire meme got me thinking:

...if you advertise that you are a black, minority, woman owned business are you more or less prone to do business with them?

For me, all things being equal and I have a choice of what business to be a patron of, I will tend to avoid the virtue signaling business.

I know I’m old school, but I still buy the best product for the best price. I don’t really care about anything else. All this boycotting and cancel culture shite is exhausting to me. I can’t keep up

Same here but if the virtue signaling is in my face I just go to the next store.

I will do business with whoever I get the best product and customer experience from. I don't really care if they are white, black, pink, men, women, whatever.

Less likely. Simply because I assume they got some government subsidy or below market loan to start or stay in business.

Your team started it. It will end when people on your team stop it

Way less likely. My line of thinking is that if they were a good business/store/restaurant then they wouldn't need to play that card and try and get the sympathy business.

Absolutely less, regardless of political lean.

Just sell me the service or product I want to purchase. I don’t give a frick what your politics are. If you make politics a prominent part of your marketing, you won’t have my business.

I like to avoid businesses that say non-GMO on the packaging.

This. I don't want my money going to anyone who thinks their race and/or gender should be a reason I should do business with them.

Less. I don't if you are a woman-owned business. I don't care if you are a minority-owned business. I don't care if you are a veteran-owned business. Give me the best value for my buck.

As I have grown older I came to realize that most business owners/founders have a real face for radio or print and don’t belong around cameras, period.

Where I'm at. I've not done business with companies because their websites had no white people on it. Even one because they had plenty of mixed couples, but no white couples.

If you aren't going to advertise to white people I guess you don't want my money is my stance.
