It is only a matter of time before the racist card is played on Landry's N.O. committee

Gov.-elect Jeff Landry has tapped the biggest funder of the effort to oust New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, as well as the former Orleans Parish district attorney and the current sheriff of Jefferson Parish to serve on his transition committee focused on New Orleans.
They are among at least 27 people who are set to serve on the committee, which is being helmed by GOP donor and former shipbuilding executive Boysie Bollinger, according to a list obtained by The Times-Picayune.

The vast majority of the members are White, though a majority of the city's residents are Black. Just six of the committee's 27 members are women.

I hope Jeff Landry responds, "I don't give a frick about skin color. I want good governance. frick your racists bull shite."

The question is: will conservatives ever be strong enough to STAND UP against the diversity police? Stop catering to them!

That's a really good list of people.
Anyone with a shred of sense should be able to say "Its a good thing that he has no one from Latoya's regime or anyone like her on it, they are the ones that have helped ruin this city"
But of course logic and reason don't exist

Landry’s transition team is generally made up of people who supported him in the primary.
Pretty sure Toya’s supporters were voting for a dipshit who used to run DOTD, not Landry.

by stand up, I mean that conservatives, in this case Jeff Landry needs to actively respond by explicitly saying he doesn't care what races they are and just leave it at that.

So?
New Orleans was founded by white people. All those black people are colonizers.

Jeff Landry appointed at least one person from GNO and another that is affiliated. GNO believes there are too many white owned businesses.

WRONG RESPONSE. Stop being dumb about this.
Simply say "we do not consider race". the end.

I think it's time to publicly embrace and be proud of what white, European culture has accomplished for our freedom and prosperity as a nation.
That freedom and prosperity has benefited people of all races who live here.
White people shed the blood of over 600,000 of our own to fight a civil war for the benefit of black Americans.
White men of power passed civil rights legislation to eradicate any vestiges of systemic racism. White men have built a society here that became the envy of the world.
We still have millions of people of color migrating here every year to have a chance to improve their lives over what their non-white countries have offered them.
I love and appreciate people of all races. And I'm thankful that white men of power fought to establish this great nation.

I wonder how long it’s gonna take for LaToya to cuss him out.

I want White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, etc. people in charge who recognize and appreciate the type of government that White people established in this nation. I want smart, qualified people of any race to run things so long as they respect our Constitution (written by white men) and want to serve the best interest of our republic.

That sounds like they are saying blacks should only be governed by other blacks. That comes across as a bit racist.

Lots of trial attorneys…

I’ll tell you two things for sure about that list.
Greg Rusovich is a first class man, and Beckett Becnel is a buffoon.

It's a given. Even if he follows up this announcement with only the most cautious, measured recommendations that will be up to City Hall to accept or reject.
Done in the finest style of tip-toeing and dancing around what needs to be accomplished.
Nothing yet on how he intends to work with the new Secretary of State on the stuffed voter rolls here with tens of thousands of illegitimate names.
But one thing for sure, he won't be coming down here with an army of State Police and lots of yellow crime scene tape to block off the entrance to Registrar Wilson's office, followed by orders to do what needs to be done with the fat rolls whether she likes it or not.
As a former Attorney General he certainly is aware of the charge Malfeasance in Office. No one will see anything like this happen.
Or maybe he could order Latoya and friends to quit fighting the dictates of the Consent Decree by complaining as Plaintiffs to every available court - including appellate courts - and losing every time.
But he didn't do anything related to that as Attorney General.
Maybe someone can advance a theory as to what he will do, other than posturing and malingering.
The only name on that list that has the story on what's been going on here is Cannizzaro. Maybe he'll light a fire under Landry.
As D.A. he spent a good part of his time having to go hat in hand to the Administration begging for enough funds to run his office. Which they really got off on.
Because he never got them. The main reason he decided not to run again. But he was the best D.A. we've ever had including even Connick.
But Cannizzaro experienced the same contempt, recalcitrance and stonewalling just like every Inspector General we ever had come through here who were supposed to search for problems in City Hall, but with every one them becoming little more than figureheads.
The present one has done nothing about Latoya and Vappie (Romeo and Juliet) - and he better not even try.

So we know 6 are women, but they can't say how many are black or anything else?
