I’ll tell you why this is.

It’s simply Bc the average conservative has very little day to day interaction with cops. And many cops are friendly on an individual basis. Meanwhile, crime and the lowlifes of society have a very strong impact on our daily lives either directly or indirectly. Which is reinforced by watching the news or shite, even scrolling the OT.

And also bc, is there some other alternative to “cops”? We’re always going to have police, so what exactly do we even want? Take away their armored vehicles? Ok fine i guess that improves our quality of life some way. Have fewer cops? No, we don’t want to defund them. That’s the other side pushing for that anarchy. We want to hire better cops? Sure of course but our taxes are high enough. We want them to not enforce certain drug laws or civil asset forfeiture? You bet, but the legislatures need to step up for that.

So on some level, conservatives view cops as friends bc the other side views them as enemies. And the other side—full of communists and racists and retards—are most certainly not friends.

Also, Matthew 24 amongst many other places in scripture show us all what is to come in our future, but this future for this world is actually well underway. The growing intolerance for God, the God of the Bible to be precise, His morality, and anyone who follows Him and refuses to deny Christ. These agents, this police state, and coming new world order government is just part of a much larger and wicked rule over the hearts of men.

As for the individuals, on the rare occasion I come into contact with them I’m cautious. I don’t automatically think they’re bad, but I don’t trust them either unless I have a good reason to beyond their uniform. That uniform once gave them the benefit of the doubt with me, but that hasn’t been the case for decades.
