That has been my most serious misalignment with Tucker's stance - He SEEMs to scoff at those who DISBELIEVE it.
I am in that camp - I do not believe there are intrusions from any "mortal" intelligence-generated life form. And no intrusions from any machine built by "them" unless we are completely at odds with the reality of things like the speed of light.
And if there is an intelligence "out there" that is that far advanced compared to us, there would be nothing we could do but surrender if they demanded it. We would be like guinea pigs being watched by Isaac Newton.
NOW - is there some hi-tech crap that we, the average citizen, are not aware of? - hell yes - and rightly so.
Is that stuff in the hands of friendlies or enemies - who knows? - hope they are friendly and can keep it covert.
