So what law was actually broken?

Why is it illegal to pay a woman money to stay silent about an affair? Seems like an agreement between 2 consenting adults
Unless he held a gun to her head or something this is a non issue. It may be unethical but where is it illegal?

Hard to know until the indictment is unsealed.

According to star witness Cohen, Trump did nothing.

It is going to be some sort of out of date bullshite.
He was president for 4 years, then there has been 2 years, and they "found" something legit from before all that just now?
How gullible are you?

Well, if a democrat pays hush money out of their campaign cash everything is good. No biggie.
If Trump does it (even after it’s been 7yr and past the statue of limitations), Dems call for the death penalty for Trump and all his supporters

They are trying to tie the payments to campaign funding fraud, ie, using outside funds for campaign purposes over a specific amount that was not reported. They are indicting on some 30 friggin charges.
It’s a bunch of bullshite and even the Federal government did not pursue this case multiple times.
Oh, also remember, the initial investigation had absolutely nothing to do with this campaign/hush money.
And another thing, same judge that was over the Trump Organization tax crap.
This is seriously one of the most heinous acts in history towards a former President and one currently running again

It would only be illegal if she was paid off with campaign funds. Since Cohen's attorney sent a letter stating that Cohen paid her off with personal funds and without Trump's knowledge, I don't see how it would violate the law.

The law he allegedly broke was not reporting the payment on his financial disclosures paperwork. The FEC sees the payment as a political benefit as it kept her from speaking on it during an active campaign.
But also they are allegedly 34 counts in the indictment. So who knows what else is in there.

Trump has an (R) next to his name.
That’s simply unforgivable and cannot be tolerated.

He was bad.
He was orange.
But mostly he was an outsider who threatened the establishment’s long running little racket.

Would he be indicted? There's a far cry from posters on a message board being mad and the weight of the state being used to crush political opposition. Go frick yourself bootlicker.

The one where you can’t use campaign funds to pay off said pornstar

But Republican DAs and Judges wouldn’t go after him legally for that. They wouldnt try and tie it back to some campaign fund bullshite.

It's not, but if you falsify business records to hide it, it could be.
