What if Trump was just a controlled psyop to take focus away from real change?

He seems like the perfect celebrity to create an Idiocracy-like politician, who sounds big and macho and a "fighter" but when he's in power, doesn't actually do anything (some could argue he enabled the Deep State and NWO).
If you do your research, you'll see that when the reality of just how little Trump did as President is presented, the common response is "who do you think could have done more?" This is a dead giveaway from the elites in power, because the fact that we, as a population, haven't come up with those options is EXACTLY why Trump was hand-picked and permitted to win in 2016.
The most brilliant part of this strategy is that the elites have not only used Trump as a beacon to focus all attention, financial support, and political support away from a real change, but his delivery has completely marginalized the entire movement from a psychological perspective. The elites have managed to have "conservatives" self-own themselves by making their message completely toxic (via supporting the NWO mouthpiece in Trump).
Y'all need to stop being sheep and do your research to figure out what's REALLY going on.
Trump is the WEF/NWO and the WEF/NWO is Trump.

No it actually makes it more likely he's a distraction.
He's creating super sheep on both sides, creating polarity to be used by "them" to enact authoritarian measures (doesn't matter which side they are pretending to be on).

Imho, if he is a controlled psyop, then it it one that is designed to highlight the seditious and traitorous pieces of shite that have infiltrated the government (I almost said “our” government, but they want nothing to do with the American people other than to lord over us). I mean, with the support of the media (and social media), coupled with some brazen Election Day frickery, those that consider themselves to be “above the law” may (have) expose(d) themselves (Cassidy and Scalise immediately come to mind).
My take is an alternate application of your theory. Just like yours, I would suggest that my take is plausible as well.

I think you've got a good point. Putin knew that Trump was very brash and abrasive. So, Putin had people get on social media (like this) and support Trump. Trump won and his personality guaranteed the election of Biden.
This is key because Putin would never have invaded Ukraine with a US president like Hillary Clinton running things. That would be suicide.
Instead, he took the 4 year wait until Hillary became discouraged and decided not to run again and the Dems stupidly went for Biden. Putin then pounced like a cat.
