Despite the manifold faults of the GOP, has it ever been clearer that the only electorally meaningful place for libertarian (or even “liberty-interested”) Americans is the Republican Party? Once the Democrats ceded the field on free speech, where else to go?

What's the issue here? Every American should go to Arlington or speak to a service widow. These foreign conflicts that Biden, Obama, Bush, Graham, and everyone in the US Gov't speak about so casually about costs American lives. Real people die.
You know what's funny about the open board thing? The Libertarian solution is to eliminate the Welfare State, end the War on Drugs, and make it easier to get work visas. You know, make gov't smaller and increase personal freedoms? Yet, every Republican tells you that's not realistic.
The Republican 'realistic' solution is to build a big arse wall and make gov't bigger. Like there is no scenario where our gov't would then use that wall against us. If the Canadian reaction to COVID taught us anything, it's that you need the ability to leave. If a border wall truly works, as an American, there is no exit you'd be able to take that didn't involve federal permission. That should scare the frick out of everyone.

Libertarians are worthless. If one managed to get elected, the Dems and the GOP would refuse to work with them. All they care about is weed and open borders.

Go listen to a few podcasts of Dave Smith or Angela McCardle. They’re the current ideological heads of the party. It’s not far off of what republicans that hate the establishment want.

Funny because some of the boards favorite reps are in fact libertarians. Ron, Rand, Massie. Even Amash was pretty good until he went full TDS. Libertarians have a platform that is more in line with the founding fathers than either of the two current parties.
