I remember for years under Les we always lacked at OT. It's so nice to see us have 3 elite guys there all at once now.

Yes. Night and Day for the OT position. Amazing the talent we have there in 2 recruiting cycles

Amazing how far the offensive line has come in such a short time

It does help for Louisiana to punch out 3 elite prospects, but you’re right.

Les had a solid run at OTs. Middle part of the line had issues.

2005 whitworth
2006-9 Black
2010 Barksdale
2011 C Faulk
2012 - rough year lost Faulk and Hurst
2013-14 Collins
2015 - Hawkins

Almost all those guys were either All-SEC types players and-or had decent pro careers.

Should be interesting to see how the offensive line recruiting goes nation wide in 2024.

Heard to RT. Jones to RG.

We should have a better O-Line next year...even with Bradford leaving.

this dude was and still is a STUD ... moving from OT to C was probably the best decision he ever made

Regarded as the top OT coming out of HS and Les convinced him to leave Illinois and come to BR

6'6" 310 lbs. and very cerebral. Dude has to recognize and call blocking schemes for the OL when at the LOS

Tell me when Louisiana has produced 3 5 star OL in a 2 year period. Probably never. Kind of easy to improve OL when that happens. Might be some of best OL to ever come from La. There might be some before them but they have a chance to over take all of them including Whitworth.

If they did, all of the North LA ones went to Bama.

worth mentioning Sedrick Van Pran even though he was in the class of 2020. #1 Center in the country, and #3 recruit in LA who wanted to leave the State and chose UGA. He started all 15 games as a RS-FR last year. In 2022 as a RS-SO Van Pran started all 14 and totaled 912 snaps. He gave up no QB hits, and no sacks.

3 years ago this board would have been shitting itself thinking about the possibility of Tyree Adams potentially starting at RT in Year 2

Now? he’s got three of the best young OTs in America ahead of him

Heard was clearly the best OLman at that game. He used his long arms and strong hands to lock guys up. Once he gave his initial punch and locked you up...it was over.

He will likely be your starting RT IMO, as so many have speculated.

Yes, would be 4 best OL on LSU team at one time if Van Pran had signed. 4 future 1st-2nd round draft picks on OL on one team.

Les bumped guards to tackle.
Brian is bumping tackles to guards.

Winning.
