Colin Hurley on LSU/Bama: "“This was the best college football game I’ve ever attended"

“This was the best college football game I’ve ever attended - hands down. It may not only be one of the best games of this season; rather a history maker, too.” “You have No. 6 Alabama visiting No. 10 LSU, in a night time showdown in Death Valley. It’s Coach Saban vs Coach Kelly. It’s as big a game and stage as there is.
quote:
“I visited tailgating parties. The LSU fan base immediately recognized me and were showing so much love. They were fixing me plates of food, asking to take photos and just wanting to get to know me.
They were welcoming me and asking about my family. They were amazing. Good people. I love it. What an on-campus experience. Baton Rouge just fits me. I love the vibrant culture, food scene and tight-knit community. The people are good souls. They’re hard working. They love football.
I’m a spirited person. I take football super serious and I’m a winner, but I like to have fun playing it. I think LSU is a perfect fit for me and that I’m a perfect fit for LSU.
quote:
“I can’t say enough about my decision to commit and play at LSU. I have zero doubt about my decision! I spoke with Coach Kelly, Coach Denbrock and Coach Sloan and all of them reiterated they’re all in on me and I told them, I’m all in on LSU.
I honestly don’t think anyone really understands the relationships I have with this staff. It’s been in the making for some time. It’s different and it’s something, all of us value, respect and feel will help us to be successful at LSU. Relationships matter. Culture matters.
Supporting and trusting each other matters. Believing in each other matters. Winning matters. This is what all of us feel and believe in. I’m already recruiting some targets to build a championship team.

Colin should really consider majoring in Creative Writing.

This kid just keeps getting better, the more you hear him speak the more impressive he is.

He comes off like a great future leader for LSU.
And I’ll be honest, it was one of the best games that a 50-60 year old has likely ever seen as well, not just a 16 year old.

Any recruit that didn't love last nights game does not love college football.

This kid has the potential to be a super star. Really stoked we got him committed and I don't think he's going anywhere else.

Damn. This kid is really only 15??? Crazy.

Hurley will be a superstar at LSU.

That’s what we need to build a new foundation on, high quality kids that can play the game, respect the game and love it

This kid is 15? Holy hell. You want a communicator like that at QB. If he can play
half as well as he communicates, he's the face of the program for 3-4 years.

Thanks for sharing that was a great read and needs to be shown to every recruit that is considered LSU. That kid has a bright future, not just in football but in life.
Great get by the Tigers
