The multitude of requests I get on the forum, email, and in person, much like those of the TulaneLSU Movie Reviews Thread, has convinced me to consolidate and put in one place my voluminous writing on New Orleans dining. Here are some of the better, more informative threads. Be on the lookout for the print version soon. Pelican Press is my leading press choice.
Fear not, my loyal and eager readers. These lists are not finished, and I will be adding to them as my time and knowledge allow. I have several more neighborhoods to evaluate and many more top ten lists to develop.

Thanks, I only wished I lived there now.

I don't think Chicken likes it much when you promote yourself.
Let me know when your print version comes out so I can have a big bonfire at the levee. Thanks!

Perfect. I'm moving there in three weeks. This should help me get started.

None of his others ones do...
I kind of like the lists, just don't like all the tooting his own horn that he does with them.

I find your list to be entertaining Tom Foolery.

Hmmm, I was wondering about that...
Mark me down for enjoying the lists too.

He also hadn't begun to pimp his "print version".

I honestly don't know if this character is a smart guy, a googling machine, or a complete nimrod, but his lists are created to invoke a knee jerk reaction as is the situation with most of his posts. He won't respond to absolutes and questions about certain topics in his own threads, because I don't feel like he has ever been or even experienced much of what he writes about. My apologies to the OP if he has, but quite often it appears very evident that he has not.

This. I've tried on several occasions to ask questions of him, for clarification, to expound upon an opinion, etc.. and never get a response. Hence why I think he's often full of shite.

I saw that as tongue in cheek humor

Maybe so, but I have no reason to believe it's not true either.

Seems like it would be a fruitless effort considering that most people will enjoy doing this at home just as much as anywhere else

I much prefer doing it at home w/ a bunch of friends but (1) I don't own a pot so I always have to borrow one and (2) don't want to foot the bill and my friends never pony up
