Looking to upgrade the 15 year old 9 degree Callaway BB 460.
Stiff or extra stuff shaft going into whatever head I choose.

It will be the Ping G430 when it comes out in February

The worst and only answer. The one you’re fitted for.

I’m sticking with my Cobra LTDx

I’ve got a TSi3 Xstiff I’ll sell you. It’s hot as hell.

I got a Taylor Made Sim2 Max last year. Easiest driver to shape and hit the fairway I’ve ever had. I track my rounds, and I’m 70% FIR, 15% misses right and left. Almost every miss is over drawing/fading a shaped drive. Haven’t hit one OB with the driver all year.

Just picked up a TSr2. Haven’t had a chance to take it for a test drive yet.

Charlie Hull(LPGA) is pretty hot…

Cobra LTX LS in my opinion.

Cobra has a hot face
Ping will be the most forgiving
Titleist will let you wear chubbies and get invited to frat parties.
Srixon is the sleeper
Taylor made will release a new driver by the time you get home with the one you just bought
Mygolfspy.com does a really good driver comparison yearly. Test it across a bunch of handicaps. Check ‘em out

mizuno STZ is as good as anything else out there. Hot off the face and very forgiving.
Really just find the driver you like the best from Cobra, Callaway, Mizuno, Taylormade, etc. and then go get fitted to a shaft for that head. All the heads have different weight characteristics meaning you dont know which shaft will work best until you go get fitted properly.

I am not a Ping fan, however I’ve also heard this driver will be ridiculously hot when released.

Who does fittings in the BR area?
I usually use Golfworks’ shaft selector for a general idea.

Technically not on the market anymore but was EXTREMELY hot, albeit for a very short period of time.

I have a Cobra LTDx LS 9* with an X-stiff HZRDUS RDX Smoke Blue shaft on the way.
