Are they going to regret leaving those pictures at Quinn's apt?

I called the happy ending at the birthday party, but that's about all I got right. Very good season finale. Sets it up for an awesome possible final season. Quinn knows.

pretty vanilla ending to the show right there. i highly doubt the quinn angle leads to anything here.

yep. last week's episode was one of the best of the series...tonight, not so much.

I was hoping that Lumen and Dex would work together next season. It's hard to live up to last years ending!

I really enjoyed this episode, and I thought it did a good job of wrapping up the season without terminally crashing out-of-control.
The beauty of Dexter IMHO has always been that he, a serial killer, is more human than the rest of us.
The writers know what they are doing, and will have plenty of other shocking moments for us.
I'm eagerly awaiting Season 6 and the next chapter!

incredibly lame
****SPOILERS****
What a huge copout that was. Absolutely horrible. So many things built up, then that shite? Come on. So disappointing, especially after the finales they've had in the past, and how good the last few episodes have been. I feel so cheated after the emotional investment of this season

The only WOW factors they could have hit you with would have ended the series IMO

I know, but it was still a pussy way to end the episode. I kept running through scenarios, and they all ended up with the show ending, but come on.
Also, if I'm in Quinn's situation, no way I'm risking going to jail for my girl friend's brother.

In one hour they pretty much made the whole season irrelevant.

thought it was the perfect way to conclude the season. this season, as a whole, is my second favorite

Feels hollow for some reason, although I'm not sure what else they could have done. The last second physical escapes are starting to wear a little thin, though. It's one thing to outsmart someone, but that's twice in a row now that Dex has saved his own life with superhero shite.
So what does Quinn know? What would have happened if Dexter hadn't altered the bloodwork?

I really don't see how this episode is any different than the final episode in season 1 or season 2. I think the fact that all of the loose ends were tied up makes this episode great. I really didn't want this season to end with a cliff hanger; without there being a cliff hanger, it allows for endless possibilities next season. Alot of people wanted Deb to find out; it's too early for that and would have killed the suspense in succeeding episodes. And this season was not a waste; dexter realized that a) he wanted a human companion; and 2) that losing his dark passenger is possible. The series is progressing great.
