For those of you who have never played them and got into Bioshock thanks to Infinite
PC Download
Code GFDAPR20 is supposed to knock another $1 off down to $4 though I haven't tried it

Think a stock laptop bought at the end of 2011 would run this?

Anyone?

well,
bioshock 1 was released in 2007
so id suspect a laptop purchased in 2011 could run a 2007 game
however
without knowing any specs of your laptop this would be pure speculation,

Going to probably have to know your exact model number. I have seen mine reproduced with very different specs. It should be on the bottom of it somewhere.

I'm not at home, so I'm not sure. Even if it doesn't work it's only $5 and I can play it whenever I do get something that'll work with it.

It will play them easily. I played Bioshock on mine and it's pretty similar to yours (i5, 6GB RAM, no dedicated graphics card) on the high settings with no slowdown. Bioshock 2 runs on the same engine.

What a steal.
I didn't realize Bioshock was already 6 years old. It has definitely stood the test of time.

question:
I dont really ever buy pc games. only bought infinite off of steam.
how does it work if I want to play this game on another PC, or is there any downside to purchasing from gamefly as opposed to waiting for a steam sale
Can i save it to a gamefly account and be able to download it/play on diff. pc's ?

They don't appear to be steam keys.
Saved files are usually on the machine you are playing on unless they have a cloud service. I have Steam, Origin, GMG, GOG, Amazon, GFWL, Gamefly, and Gamersgate accounts.

As many times as you want. Enjoy having multiple copies of the same game on your computer.
