Does your SO ever go into your wallet?

My gf came over last night to chill and watch a movie with me and I ordered pizza so we wouldn’t have to cook anything. Anyway, the pizza dude arrived at my house, told me how much I owed, but when I reached for my wallet, I’d forgot it was sitting on my dresser in my bedroom. I was about to go get it, but my gf jumped up and got it for me. Instead of handing it to me, she opens it and takes out some cash and hands it to me. That didn’t sit well with me so when the pizza dude left, I told her to never go into my wallet again, that’s my private space and she didn’t like that. We ended up getting into a big fuss about it. Was I being a dick about it?

Yes, if she needs something out of it.
I do the same with hers.

My wife does but I don't have anything to hide so it's all good.

Pics of her.
Maybe I'll rifle her bag.

Why would that bother anyone?

Seems like something rather innocuous to get pissed off about.

Not normally but, occasionally. nothing in there she hasn't seen before.

What’s private about it?

what the hell do you keep in there that you got so defensive about? All mine would find is old receipts that I will never need and don't know why I keep and some cash.

calling bullshite on this whole story
In 2018, people order pizza online. No one calls the pizza place and places an order over the phone. You have to enter your payment info before they even send the pizza over so you saying that your "girlfriend" got your wallet for you is a lie. You paid online ahead of time.

I think you could have handled the situation differently to where it didn’t lead to a fight.
That being said, I would not help myself to a SO’s wallet unless it was established there’s no issue with me being in there. The same goes with my handbag.

No, my wife doesn't dig through my stuff. If she wants to pull cash out tell her to get her own wallet.

Not true. COD for pizza is still doable in my area.
