while I agree with your motivation, we can’t just start killing people because suspect they may kill a person in the future. But this sicko should definitely be locked up then let the nature of the jailhouse serve justice.

There’s a bunch in this story that isn’t getting told.

Is this a “They looked wrong at my nephew who was actively trespassing.” Or a “Dog got out and started trying to go after my nephew and I on the street and followed us home.”

Because the former, I’d say lock up for a few months. The latter, why didn’t you get a real firearm.
