U.S. Army War College publishes paper on "lessons learned" from Russo-Ukrainian War

Their findings conclude that the United States military is not ready for large scale combat operations and that partial conscription maybe required due to the "obsolescence" of the all-volunteer design developed during the 1970s and 1980s.

U.S. Army War College

It's the war college. I read this as if it's Brian Kelly saying we need to force all the 5 stars to come to LSU if we want to win.

After thousands were killed and injured in Iraq and Afghanistan in wars which we were lied to about, I believe many have been talking their kids out of joining the military. I don’t know this to be true, but it’s just a hypothesis.

The future of the Army is less soldiers and more automation. Whether or not DoD and its partners can train high school educated 18 year olds to run these systems is truly the challenge

It is. And the men and women who write these papers typically go on to strategic leadership assignments at the corps level on up. These aren't second lieutenants writing these papers, these are colonels and brigadier generals

Brian Kellys, not Jayden Daniels(es)

I love my country but this fricking government is controlled by scumbag pieces of shite who I would never trust.

Additionally have you seen todays 18yr olds?
Most are obese, Cheeto eating, low T, video game all night playing pussies.
They are almost all soft as hell.
Most of these kids don’t even want to chase cooze and get a stinky finger on a Friday night.
The parents of this generation have raised Youtube pussies.
We better have robotic soldiers and be fully automated as these Fricks couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag.

Haven’t we had conscription for every major full-scale war in our history since the civil war? I’m not counting Iraq and Afghanistan in that

Yeah and that’s the problem. Trust in our government is in the gutter. Many don’t want their kids dying for those scumbags.

All the best officers get out as Captains and move on to the civilian sector because they get sick of dealing with the bureaucratic nonsense of the military. Our field grade level and up officer corps is filled with mediocrity.

Most soldiers in the next war will be spotted from space via satellite and blown up with a missile. Literal Missile Fodder.
I will tell my son to go to Canada if necessary but don’t die for this government.
Now fighting to replace this government is a different story.

Conscription would help this too.

That’s been the story of the US Military since its inception. Ulysses S. Grant was a store clerk working for his dad when the Civil War broke out.

The Armed Forces did this to themselves when they prioritized wokeness over military readiness.

The military clearly stated by their actions there is no longer a place for straight, white, men.
They can fight the next war without us.

Back in those days, the army was small, and they didn't mind if you found another job. They would call you up if they needed you.
