Any recommendations on a particular belt brand or two? I’m tired of buying the cheap ones and having to replace them so often. Full grain leather is the way to go. TIA.

Have a Justin full grain that has been going for years.
Brand doesn't matter as much as selecting full grain. Assuming you want a plain brown/black belt

Hank's are good quality, although the buckles seem kind of big and out of line on certain belts. Also, some of the belts are super thick and barely fit in pant loops. Buy the thinner ones.
I know they are probably trashy, but I also have a couple of Slidebelts that I like. They give you a perfect fit.

I wish I knew what brand my dad used to tear my arse up growing up. I never went to prison, I work for a living and I know what gender I am.

Saddleback Leather Co although they don't really make dress style belts if that's what you are looking for
For everyday type belts they are awesome.

Get a belt designed for carry, it'll be twice as thick as you're used to and last forever. I have a "Hank's Belts," that I've beat the crap out of on a nearly daily basis for nearly a decade, and it's still good to go. The Gunner has 100 year warranty. That's for casual wear, even if you're not carrying.
If you're looking for a dress belt, Smart Belt is a good bet. Their hole-less system keeps the stress off of think dress bolt holes and uses strong polymer "ratchets" to keep the belt secured.

Allen Edmonds Manistee & Wide Basic are my main belts.

Narragansett Leathers
quote:
We have made these same belts for over 47 years. Each belt is hand cut with a draw gauge from 8-10 oz domestically tanned "English bridle" leather bends, which make for extremely durable strapping. This leather is actually tanned and finished for the horse bridle industry. This vegetable tanned leather is quite expensive, but worth the difference. Each strap is worked through 7 steps before it's attached to a solid brass buckle using solid brass rivets. Color choice is dark brown, medium brown, burgundy, chestnut, and black. Because dye batches from the tannery will vary and because computer screens vary, we do not recommend dependence on these photos for matching color. Custom belts for any buckle you may have is our specialty. Snaps or Chicago screw rivets available on request.

I’m currently rocking a Johnston and Murphy, I’ve got the comfort one so it’s not all leather, but I appreciate the soft liner and bit of stretch that comes with it, probably just my age though.

I bought a black and a brown from main street forge. Claim to be made in the US and comes with a lifetime warranty. Ive had them for over a year and like them so far.
Main Street Forge
They also sell them on amazon.
Not sure you can beat any of the ones they have for under $40 rt now.

Clayton & Crume or Ben Silver, depending on what you’re looking for. They’ll last your life if you don’t have a major weight loss/gain.
