I see they are offering $25,000 sign on bonuses for nurses because they need people. Didn’t they fire a few hundred employees for not getting the vaccine last year?

Yes, they do. No booster requirement though, just the initial poisoning.

They use Green Security for credentialling in order to work in the hospital. Green requires not only covid Vax but an updated booster as well.

I have worked in a hospital for years and frequently wore a mask. I was in a setting where I was exposed to some very bad bacteria, fungus and viruses. I'm not chancing it.

You’re laughing at everyone wearing masks, yet you went to the ER for a splinter

Is LCMC no longer requiring a COVID-19 vaccine? They were when I worked there, along with a TB test, flu shot, etc.

Are no other hospital systems requiring vaccines? Seems odd to me that they wouldn't, even with all the negative publicity

I work in 3 different hospitals in south central louisiana. None require the vax.

Stand alone facilities or part of a system like Ochsner, LCMC, etc?

Maybe it's considered higher risk in an urban environment as opposed to a more rural setting. Or maybe staffing needs are harder to meet in rural areas. I don't know...
