Already been snowing out west. This year's crop of ski porn should be dropping soon as well.
With it being an El Niño year, could see alot of moisture in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Southern Colorado/Utah. Could be a good year to hit Telluride.
Where y'all headed this year?
My company is HQ'd in Utah so I'm out there at least 1 time a month so end up bringing my skis and getting in a day or two of skiing each time out there, so must of my shite is Utah focused
Here is what I got for "trips" outside of random day or two trips to my local mtn- Snowbird/Alta
- Utah Early Season Trip around Thanksgiving (conditions dependent)
- Early December - Snowbird/Alta
- Early Jan- Deer Valley with Wife
- Presidents Day - Taos
- "Spring Break"- Steamboat
- Easter- Snowbird
- Early May- Snowbird
Hoping to get around 30 days this year.

Snow skiing is great.
It gets weekenders with ski boats away from the lake so you can fish in peace.

Besides hitting up Lone Peak nearly every day, I'm headed to Steamboat in January and Telluride in February.
Haven't gone to Sun Valley yet, might try that for a day trip. Jackson is not a very far drive but the road can get pretty sketchy. Some of the tiny areas in MT are pretty cool - Disco in Philipsburg/Anaconda and Teton Pass have almost nobody at the lifts.

want to try Powder Mountain in UT. I’ve heard great things over the years but never been.
unfortunately it appears it’s become mainstream now so probably more lines and more $$$ like everywhere else.

Cant wait! Got Epic Pass for kids and me for the first time. I'm early retired now working only sporadically plenty of time to travel and finally ski after couple years.

I hope you enjoy standing in insane lines. Just google epic pass lines. You'll want to make sure you go in the middle of the day in the middle of the week or you'll spend more time in line than on the slopes
