Anyone talk about how rummel had 6-6 season yet beat the 2 seed?
Posted on 11/21/23 at 6:15 pm to Chad504boy
Rummel lost several close games and also had some nice wins.

No matter what the result on Friday, Monica has coached his arse off this season. I’ll eat my crow with that because I thought the wagon was coming loose.
Rummel has had a TON of injuries, playing freshman & sophomores all over the place, and yet here they are.

There is no way Karr should be ahead of Curtis, which blew them out recently

Interesting matchup that no one is talking about

Lotta history between those schools between playoffs and playing each other in the regular season back when the Mannings on the team were Peyton and Cooper.
Peyton dominated them in the playoffs around 93.
A low seeded Episcopal’s Cinderella run in 2002 went through Newman on the way to a semifinal loss to Iota.
Etc.
Not necessarily a well known or storied rivalry but more than you would think for rich kid schools in different metro areas.

Maybe but Curtis had two losses that we’d drag Karr for if they had them with HC and Rummel. Maybe they’ll settle things by playing for the big trophy in the Dome

Rummel wasn’t an average 6-6 and Captain Shreve wasn’t an average 2 seed

VSN
Ruston should have their stream, Destrehan will probably have one, someone will probably have Riverside and St Martins
