Posted a little of this in the betting thread but I think the Chiefs are winning this one..Bengals seem almost over confident, everybody picking the Bengals, Mahomes ankle storyline..I think he has a big day. Bengals O line is still suspect. Hard to beat a good team four times in a row. On the road. I think KC will get the calls. Betting line looks fishy. Pulling like hell for the Bengals, but just got a feeling KC will win this.

But this is flawed thinking. They don’t have to beat them 4 times in a row. They just have to win todays game. If this was a regular season game, this could matter as Chiefs would be out for revenge and maybe Bengals don’t care as much. This is to go to the Super Bowl, no extra motivation needed.

I think it’ll be a good game, Chiefs certainly can win. But the whole “tough to beat a good team 4 times in a row” thing is dumb.

I'm pulling for the Bengals, but this is the exact recipe for a Chiefs win.

Mahomes hurt, Kelce hurt, Bengals coming off of a big win at Buffalo. The Chiefs are probably going to be made out to be facing an uphill battle today even though they are at home and the #1 seed.

Blah, blah, blah. It's also hard to beat someone when they have your number, and the Bengals seem to have the Chiefs number right now.

That's what I thought earlier in the week, but if Kelce is messed up, they are screwed.

You went from rolls in the title to just winning immediately in the post

Of course the chiefs can win. But Cinci's defense, especially the adjustments they make as the games go on, is gonna be a problem for the chiefs.

It’s hard to beat a good team once. It’s hard to beat a good team twice in a row. It’s hard to beat a good team three times in a row.

You’ll eventually be right.

I think Burrow figures out how to guide his team to a win and another Super Bowl.

We'll get Bengals vs. Niners Part III in a few weeks.

Part I: 49ers won by 5.
Part II: 49ers won by 4.
Part III: 49ers win by 3??

NO

high ankle sprains do not go away, they need to be rested for a good month-2months.

so he's finna be shot up with enough shite that he wont feel it, and because of it, he will make some shite throws.

Now, if kelce was out, they are super toast.

chiefs need a ugly game, to get by, it wont be their typical shoot out

You make alot of really good points. But can you feel how the Bengals are playing right now? You don’t think they’ve been talking about unfinished business in that locker room all season long after coming that close in the Super Bowl last season? Theyve have a vibe right now, confident and are the 2nd hottest team in the playoffs behind the 49ers with the way they ended the season. And they just beat the frick out of a really good team in their backyard, plus the way they did it being so physical. I think the Bengals have the Chiefs number man

No. But there seems to be a real sense of hubris around a lot of the bengals(not Burrow or the staff), city, etc. It doesn’t have a huge impact but it’s kind of weird given how good the chiefs have been.

Honestly I think the key for Cincinnati will be if they can play bully ball like they did last week. They beat the bills arse on the lines.

I have a feeling Mahomes doesnt finish the game.

Calling it now. He's out before half and the Bengals roll by 10+.

I’ve seen people say the Bengals are talking too much trash to the Chiefs. Who and what has been said to the Chiefs?

Mike Hilton said, to the Bengals fans in the crowd at Buffalo, “see you in Burrowhead”. Is that a shot at KC, yeah, I’ll go with that. But he also is the only that said it and he hasn’t been repeating it all week.

Eli Apple was talking trash to Stephon Diggs on twitter this week. Diggs doesn’t play for Kansas City.

Many of the Bengals players and their head coach made sarcastic remarks towards the NFL front office for the way they changed the playoff hosting rules due to the canceled Cincy-Bills game, in which the Bengals were left out of any benefit of those rule changes. That had nothing to do with Kansas City.

Kansas City linebacker Willie Gay when asked about what about the Bengals offense impresses him said, “nothing.”

By my count, the amount of players talking back and forth this week is 1-1. But many have said, “The Bengals are talking so much trash to the Chiefs.”

No, Mahomes went to Brady for advice. A confident qb doesn’t do that. We will see later on that Mahomes will be playing nervous, and Joe will be surgical. It won’t be a blowout, but Bengals will win.
