Updated playoff scenarios (Sunday afternoon)

AFC playoffs

1. KC
2. Buffalo vs. 7. Miami
3. Cincinnati vs. 6. Buffalo
4. Jacksonville vs. 5. San Diego


NFC:

1. Philadelphia
2. San Francisco vs. 7. Seattle/Green Bay
3. Minnesota vs. 6. New York Giants
4. Tampa Bay vs. 5. Dallas

If Cincinnati can’t be the 1 seed, they’d probably rather go to KC than Buffalo.

They will likely have to go to both.

But I think New England beats Buffalo. They are fighting for their season, and Buffalo couldn’t possibly have been focused until the very backend of the week when good news of Hamlin finally broke.

A Buffalo loss with a Cincy win makes the divisional round game between those two at Cincinnati.

That's really not saying much when you've only closed the regular season at home something like 7 or 8 times in your 28 year history.
