Rams have been more relevant than the Saints since they moved to LA.

I remember when SFP told me that they wouldn’t miss a beat with all of their off-season personnel losses and I told him they wouldn’t make the playoffs. He then did a multiple post thesis about how and why I was wrong.

Wonder how that turned out.

Still believe that to be true. The Rams kind of mortgaged their future to be good now, and they aren’t likely going to win the Super Bowl.

I mean, y’all have been saying this for years now. Eventually you’ll be right but so far it’s working out I’d say.

We were a LA meltdown from making the playoffs with a 3rd string QB and a makeshift OL without our top 3 WR playing a snap all year?

In fairness the saints looked pretty good before injuries took over. SFP wasn’t exactly wrong.

Spreadsheets became a Bills fan because he couldn’t handle a couple of losing seasons

Why not?

Close out a game they’re up 20-3 in seems likely
Likely they beat San Fran.
Then they’re in the Super Bowl…

I would say that’s a pretty good shot

We led the division before our QB1 and QB2 were lost to injury. That doesn't count any of the other injures.

Not a team in the legaue that could survive two quarterback losses in a season. Even with those losses, we were one rams win away from making the playoffs.

So you still, as usual, look dumb.

Every team has these coulda woulda shoulda scenarios. Denver should’ve been the playoffs the last five years but we weren’t.

If it’s that likely, why didn’t they do it a few weeks ago?

I'm not mad or anything.

I was right this offseason.

This is one of his worst hot takes.

Yeah that's isn't the own you think it is. The Saints looked like a playoff team until the starting QB went down and that was even without an all-pro WR and the other various injuries. They still almost made it despite being the most injured team in the league. You were right based on luck more than anything.

You sure that had nothing to do with Brees apologizing?

If Jameis wouldn't have gotten hurt we'd be playing right now.

I'm a Saints fan, but a lot of current saints fans are insufferable. The team is always awesome in their mind, and when they fail to win it is never the franchise or players fault. Easily one of the most delusional fan bases in the country.
