Would be so awesome if he could be worked into the coaching staff somehow!

Wish I were able to "retire" at his age.

Met him once. Guy is as laid back as they come and loves Louisiana.

Not only one of LSU's best, but one of NFL's best guards...ever.

No LSU player was as dominant at their position for all four years as Faneca. If possible and if he'd be willing Miles, would be wise to approach Faneca with an invitation to come aboard. He may be able to offer just a tad more than Studrawa.

yeah. it was a response to a post in another thread. Upon a re-read my post sounds pretty a-hole-ish. I will edit.

Faneca left after his RS Junior year. He did not play all four years.
What makes his accomplishments even more special is that Faneca has battled epilepsy his entire life.
Congratulations on a Canton-worthy career, Alan!

Damn. So now McClure & Faulk are the oldest Tigers left standing in the NFL.
Mark Roman and Josh Reed no longer play, so does that make Jarvis Green #3 on the "Old Man List" of active alums in the NFL?
