Marvin Harrison Jr. 2022 Stats

He had almost identical stats to Biletnikoff winner Jaylin Hyatt of Tennessee. Harrison played on a Playoff team.
He won this year because of this. Career achievement award. Nabers got screwed big time.

"Hey dad... thanks for getting me this "Billingkoffs" thing for Christmas."

Same as Delpit winning the Thorpe over Stingley. It was decided before the season started.

I don’t know what’s worse. Harrison winning the biletnikoff or him going to NY. Nabors w 19 more receptions and 335 more yards. Both had 14 td. Heck one could even make an argument Odunze was better than Harrison this year.

Yeah, I would have been okay with Odunze winning because he had the numbers and made some big catches in big games.
Unforunately, Harrison winning demonstrates how these positional awards are basically decided in preseason. If voters actually paid attention, someone like Malik Washington at UVA probably deserved to be a finalist over him.

Agreed. heard one of the talking heads discussing Harrison’s stats the other night. He mentioned Harrison’s touch down total over the last 2 years.

I agree with you kinda like Grant Delpit in 2019 when he won the Thorpe award he should have won in 2018 had way better numbers but I think he won it in 2019 because of that

Have to admit, I opened this thread expecting something much different.

Nabers did get shafted, but my guess is that he will use that as a positive energy before the combine and absolutely pour it on in his prep.
Man about to show them what's up when they start measuring & timing. Some NFL team is going to be really happy with what just fell in their laps.

Same reason why Grant Delpit won the Thorpe in 2019.

So did Rome Odunze, who had 200+ more yards than Harrison. Let’s not pretend the Bilitnikoff people actual care about playoffs, record, logic or you know... actual statistics.

Happened to Grant Delpit he had a much better season in 2018, his numbers were way better than the UGA player that won

Washington’s Rome Odunze actually plays on a team in the playoffs and was hosed just as badly as Nabers. He had 217 more receiving yards and as many TDs as Harrison and finished 3rd

This is just petty and stupid

Not THAT petty. Petty would be saying that Marvin Sr tried and failed so he hired his cousin Lonnie who gets shite done.
