Back in 2020, Burrow didn’t attend the Maxwell awards gala, being the first no show in its 80+ year history at the time. The Maxwell people were not happy. Some people speculated that they might snub the next LSU player who was up for the award. Well, here we are.
I wouldn’t read too much into this as it relates to the Heisman results tomorrow.

Hey, what was going on in early March 2020 that may have prevented someone from attending a public gathering?
Anyone? Anyone?
Anyone? Anyone?

If the committee is that butt hurt screw'em.

The gala was March 6th and the world shut down on March 11th. Burrow was so smart he saw it coming.

Wow, March 11, 2020 you say…
What remarkable precision about a global viral outbreak that started in October (maybe) 2019.

If this is true, which I have my doubts, then it takes a teeny weeny brain to lump the actions/inactions of one quarterback with a university and a completely different quarterback under a completely different coaching staff.

They're a very self-important award committee. Just look at their own program music:
quote:
Shouldn't I realize (shouldn't I realize)
You're the highest of the high
If you don't know, then I'll say it
So don't ever wonder (oh, yeah)

Of course I’m not wrong. I knew the resident mouth breathers would down vote the post anyway.

Was Jayden there in person?
It’s a hike from Times Square to Atlantic City. From the pictures, it looks like the Heisman candidates are all together with an agenda.
