NY6 Bowls
Orange: Florida State vs Georgia
Peach: Ole Miss vs Penn State
Cotton: Oklahoma State vs SMU
Fiesta: Oregon vs Ohio State
SEC Bowls
Citrus: Missouri vs Iowa
ReliaQuest: LSU vs Louisville
Gator: Kentucky vs NC State
Music City: Tennessee vs Wisconsin
Liberty: Auburn vs West Virginia
Texas: Texas A&M vs Kansas State
The Duke's Mayo Bowl in Charlotte will probably have to substitute since there aren't enough SEC eligible teams.

None of those games outside the NY6 are appealing in any way. Look for terrible attendance and terrible ratings.

Where is Tulane in all this confusion?

Ever notice there are only FOUR NY6 games?

I can see Kirby smart taking out all of his frustration out on FSU.
I would enjoy seeing that

It will be the teams 5-11 in final cfp rankings plus highest ranked group of 5 champion in NY6 bowls. Tie ins are covered this year. Sec will get #6 uga,#9 mizz, #11 Ole Miss in Ny6.
Then Citrus has next pick of #13 LSU 9-3, #21 Tennessee 8-4, A&m 7-5, UK 7-5, 6-6 Auburn.
Then the other bowls work it out with help from SEC.

I want to play Iowa. For science.

Tulane missed their chance in top 6

Why would Cotton want Okie State or SMU?
Wouldn't LSU v Iowa be a better match up, with better TV ratings appeal and better traveling/ tourist $?

Cotton can only pick from teams that qualify based on final cfp rankings. This year that will be #5-#11 plus highest ranked group of 5 champion- Liberty.
Orange gets Fla st vs UGA due to tie ins.
Peach, Fiesta, and Cotton do not have tie ins.

But what if FSU beats them? We will have answers to the rights and wrongs of the decisions made.

If what I saw last night is any indication, we’d roll Louisville.

If Oklahoma state is a candidate for cotton bowl, isn’t lsu as well, given a higher rank and profile with the heisman trophy winner coming to town?
