The Texas 8$4 game has been moved to October 26, the egg bowl and Texas & Texas 8$4 game will likely be on Thanksgiving weekend.

It could be Arkansas, Missouri, or Oklahoma. Everyone else is locked up in their in-state rivalries.

Texas and Texas A&M will also renew their rivalry next season after a 12-year hiatus. The game will be played on Saturday, Nov. 30 in College Station to close the regular season, according to sources.

Did you like the Friday game vs Arkansas every year? I was probably 50/50 on that when we played. I didn't really like traveling from Houston to Baton Rouge in the evening on Thanksgiving. Usually got sleepy driving over and I didn't want to leave so early on Friday.

Probably. It's Arkansas or Oklahoma and from a rivalry week perspective, there's a much longer history between LSU/Arkansas and Oklahoma/Mizzou than the other way.
And we probably get sent back to Friday which I hate. The CBS game is going away but ESPN/ABC does air some black Friday games. ABC had a 2:30 and 6:30 game this year which you figure could be SEC next year.

A Black Friday 6:30 Arkansas game wouldn’t be terrible. That 1:30 time slot always left you wanting more tailgate time.

I hate playing Arkansas or OU that late in the year.
If the SEC votes to stay at 8 SEC games, we will be back to playing the Ags on that last weekend as Texas and A&M wont be playing every year.

I liked the Friday 1:30 Arky game. If the Indy bowl was in better shape I would love them to play in Shreveport every few years as well.
